[Warsaw trip 1/26-1/27 2013]

I took a 5:00 A.M. Bus to warsaw.

Bus was actually comfortable but not that warm.

Plus I am easy to feel dizzy with cars. The journey to Warsaw is not that pleasure with bus.

I arrived Warsaw around 8:10. Yes it is a 3 and half hours journey.

In Taiwan, a journey up to 4 hours , most people will think its so long time and rather to choose taking HSR ( High speed rail) rather than a bus. However, here in Europe, it always takes 10 hours up to go anywhere, so you will feel 3.5 hours is pretty near.

Compare with the bus in Taiwan,the bus in Poland is very nice. It is clean, warm, dry ( I mean not humid), without strange smell, and has WIFI ( Surprise!!!) It is really a surprise, according to my experiences in Paris, it is damn hard to find A place with WIFI. I actually feel WIFI service is better in Poland than in Paris. At least, when you go to train station, there is free WIFI service.

8:20 I met Anji.

He is a very nice gentleman.

Tall ( 185cm）well....anyone is tall in Poland. Sometimes 200 cm is not a surprise or a big deal.

Anji is a serious type. We immediately know each other's differences.

We are so different just like “ Man is from Mars and Woman is from Venus.”

I would said I am a very free and caudal person and Anji is a very serious and organized type.

Thanks to Anji, this is a very nice warsaw trip. Anji planed everything in this journey. For example,

He checked each bus we should take, the map, the hotel. He even bring green tea bags to hotel ( he explain the tea is not good in the hotel ).

I am such a free type that cant do so much as Anji did. ( But im very naughty, I always joked on him when he was so serious haha)

Day 1 . .King Palace > Alice wonderland garden > Mcdonald > shopping mall > unferground pizza resturant ( stone stove pizza ) > warsaw technical university ( best technical university in poland) > hotel check in > rest > long walk on night lighting streeet > warsaw university.

King palace : we did not go the one which located in city center, but another one which is far.It is very beautiful and nice. ( when you enter, you have to put a plastic bag on boots because should not wet the floor with snow )

Alice wonderland garden : its really a cute place like picture shows, but pity it is not lighten on the time we went.

Warsaw Technical university : I was stunning there , it is such a pretty university, its sa luxury as Bella vita in Taiwan. ( BTW, Bella Vita in Poland is ice cream store and is a luxury department store in taiwan.)

Long walk on night lighting sttreet : Because of Christmas, the street is so beautiful with all lighting design. On this street, you will see president

house, luxury and old churches, beautiful and stylish shops ( evena painting gallery ), king palace , etc. It is really a beautiful street because all buildings are with light as well.

Day 2. Old town > square > Library> pasta& pielogi > churches > mall and train station

Old town : It is as nice as all the old town in other cities. In the morning, I can see in futher sie, there is pointed towels from churches, so pretty. Here you can feel real Europe and feel the feelings of middle age europe.

Square : Anji said its so famous that I have to take a picture there. We are so lucky because when we arrive there its the time military change their shief. So we see a military ceremony there just like what you will see in SYC memorial hall in Taiwan. It is pretty cool, the military started beating drums with certain temple. There is a time, when they stop beating drums, its quite and suddenly all bells from churches ring together. I do not know how to describe this feeling but it is an

Amazing moment I never experienced in my life.

Library : Nice design ( its all kinds of alphabet design on outer wall ) and most of walls and cellings are made by glasses. When it is a sunny day, Library has good light. On top of this big library, it is a air garden. Interesting is underground of this library is a game center and bowling ball game center. It is kind of strange combine for us . My conclusion is, I hope Taiwan can also invest o much source and built very nice and styish librarIES for the public. Education is more important than anything else. The next generation is our hope ( oh what I am talking about :P )

Churches : It is so luxury that I can not explain well. This day is a ceremony for an important priest who just pass away, therefore , we see a long long long line with people who waiting to enter the church and pray for the priest. ( this line is so long that can be compared with our discount season in department store when you go 12F and change coupon. But I like this praying line is even longer than the line on the 12F in department store )

This is about my 1^st time Warsaw trip, Very nice and I see a lot of places in two days. Thanks to Anji.

Finally, I have to say somehting for the train ( I took train to go back Bialystok ). The polish ( europe) train for me is so comfortable. It is warm and dry ( again its not humid ), it is pretty quite and stable ( becoz it is soooo slow) but I really like it. I could just travel somewhere 10 hours by train. And the design is just same as what you read from Harry Potter. :)
